Kathy Richardson is the visionary founder of Kathy’s Kreations, a creative brand she launched in 2005 that has grown from a home-based basket-making business into a multifaceted enterprise. Today, Kathy’s Kreations delivers custom graphic and web design, branding, video editing, and creative solutions that support entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and service-based organizations across multiple industries.

Alongside her entrepreneurial work, Kathy currently serves as a Leadership Coach and Business Innovation Specialist in the mortgage and financial services industry. With more than 23 years of experience, she partners with leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen leadership capability, improve communication, and drive operational excellence. Her career includes impactful roles with organizations such as United Wholesale Mortgage, Stellantis, and Google, where she led process improvements, enhanced customer experience strategies, and guided teams through complex change initiatives using Agile and data-driven approaches.

Kathy is also deeply committed to service and community impact. She is the President of Daughter of Zion, Inc., a nonprofit organization supported by a diverse board of business professionals dedicated to revitalizing Highland Park and surrounding communities through empowerment, outreach, and sustainable programming.

An author and storyteller, Kathy published her first children’s book, Potty Troubles for the Doubles, in 2012 and later expanded her work with Ava’s Brave World. Across business, leadership, and service, Kathy is driven by a passion for creativity, purpose, and people-centered leadership—building businesses, developing leaders, and creating pathways for others to thrive.
